Hello everyone!!! I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!. In the past few days I have been very busy. First of all our trip to Hawaii was excellent. As you know my sister Ana, her husband Carlos, my mother and spent a fabulous week in the Big Island of Hawaii. We stayed at the Waikiloa Resort which is next to the Hilton Hotel. The resort was great and... What can I tell you, we had a great time. If you want to see some of the pictures that I took click here. ************ Ana, Carlos, Luisa and I came back with me to Minneapolis and they stayed with me for 2 more weeks. Luisa went back to Venezuela and Ana and Carlos went to Rock Hill, NC, to stay with my niece who was expecting her new baby girl. Unfortunately, Alexandra Marie died three weeks later with lung and heart complication. She was a beautiful little girl and we will always remember her.(R.I.P). ************ My sisters Victoria and Glenda also came over to visit towards the end of November. It was great having them around to visit and chat till early hours of the morning. Now after every one have gone I find myself back to my old routine (studying, working, doing little projects, etc) and back to reality again. ************ Well, I can't believe that it has been a year already since I moved into my town home. My anniversary was on December 17th, and I really like it here. *********** I hope that the year 2003 brings us all prosperity and happiness even though our world gets more complicated with every year that goes by. I wish the best for you all.....

Hi everyone!! Well the summer was here and gone and fall is making its graceful entrance to Minnesota. My Mother Luisa is still here with me and what started out to be a one month visit turned out to be one of 3 1/2 months. Luisa loves it here and if it wasn't because of the cold weather, she would probably stay a lot longer.********** Our baseball season is over and again it was a fun one. I did not get to play this year as much as I wanted to because of a pulled calf muscle which did not let me play part of this season. I had plans to play this fall and also travel to Phoenix, Az in order to play in the Amateur World Series tournament, but I decided against it because I am not sure if my leg would heal by Oct 16th. Well, the only thing that I can do now is rest my leg and then work out so that both legs are strong for next season.******** On September 24th my niece Michelle gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and here name is Gabriela Carolina which will make me a great uncle for the 11th time. Gabriela Carolina will not be the only new member of our extended family this year since my niece Marielys and Maria Alejandra are also expecting soon. ********* I will be going to Hawaii on October 4th. My sister Ana and her husband Carlos, my mother, myself and hopefully my nephew Rafael will be meeting a Kona International Airport in the big island of Hawaii and our resort will be 25 minutes from the airport. We will be there for a week and I will be posting some picture when I come back. ******** I have updated the photo album section of this web site and I hope you have a chance to take a look at it or CLICK HERE to view it now. Greetings everyone! I am sure that you are getting ready for the 4th of July Celebration. I will be going to Atlanta and meet my Mother who is flying in from Venezuela. We will be spending this holiday weekend with my niece Carla and Hubby Marcelo and then we will be going to South Carolina to Meet visit niece Marielys, her Hubby Bill and little William. I am looking forward to this short but rewarding vacation and I will be coming back to Minneapolis July 8th. My Mother will be staying with me though out the month of July. ************* For those of you who have not had the time to check out my web site (I know.....there is a lot of stuff in it and it is hard to surf with a slow connection), I would like to remind you that if you use AOL or Hotmail or even Yahoo messenger and you would like to chat or get in touch with me for what ever reason, my ID name for all this services is "tepuy40".....I would like to hear from you once in a while. ************* Our baseball season is well on its way and I feel that we have a very good group of guys playing this year. Most of the guys are returning players and the new ones are very easy to get along with. We might not kick butt this year, but I feel we will have a good time. In the next two weeks I will be posting pictures of my team (I was going to do it this week, but I deleted the pictures from my digital camera by mistake ......!) I am already thinking about traveling to Arizona again this year in order to participate in the Amateur World Series Tournament. Some members of my family are also planning a trip to Hawaii this year. Hopefully all of these little adventures will come true. ************* Finally, I will like to wish you all a HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!.

My Sister Victoria my nephew Rafael and my niece Anita came to visit me in April. They stayed a total of 10 day. It's so nice to have my family around. This was Rafael's first visit to the Land of 10,000 Lakes and he loved it. Rafael works for American Airlines in Venezuela so he gets a good deal when he travels around the world. The weather was unpredictable towards the end of April and my sister Victoria (Vickie) got to see snow for the first time in her life!!! It was an exciting day for her and I have published some of that momentous moment on the photograph section of this website. ************ Sometime in April I was hit by a computer virus which caused some damage to my computer. The virus got in my address book and started spreading itself to everyone on that list without my knowledge. Fortunately, I have talked to some of you and no one, as of yet, have gotten an e-mail from me with that virus probably because some of your Internet Providers and some of the free e-mail services have virus filtering capabilities. I have to admit that I did not have a virus protection program and I guess I've learned my lesson. Now my computer is protected against viruses. *********** In the past month and half there has been some changes at work. My schedule got changed from nights to days (7:30 AM to 4:00 PM) but unfortunately it got changed again to 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM ( Monday-Friday) which is even worst. All of this changes have occurred because of adjustments on the accounts that we deal with and at this point the future of the accounts that we work on is not very clear. I am not concern about been laid off, but it is an uncomfortable feeling. I have put off my MCSE classes until I can either go back to nights or days. Working 10:30 to 7 is not very convenient since it does not allow me to have neither a productive morning nor a productive night. ************ I was planning to go to Atlanta on the 20th of June to meet my mother there and visit my niece Carla and her husband Marcelo, but I had to postpone this trip until some time in July. I still have to figure out what my schedule is going to be because we may have some training to do and new accounts to learn. I have to tell you guys that I really need a vacation and I am looking forward to have one. *********I have put a little background music to this page.......I hope you like it.

Hello everyone!!!! I can't believe that it is April already. On my February 9th entry I have mentioned that December and January had passed before my eyes very quickly, and I still feel that I don't have enough hour in the day to get all my studies, projects and little errands. But guess what? I am happy because I am healthy and I can do this an more.************ Unfortunately my intentions of getting together with some of my friends to practice some baseball during the winter fell apart but I am looking forward to our first baseball practice on April 14th. ***************Our family is going to grow a little bit this year. Two of my nieces (Michelle and Marielys) are expecting towards the end of this year. This will be their second child for each one and we are all very excited about that. I am hoping to fly to South Carolina some time in June and visit Marielys and Bill, and also visit my niece Carla and her husband Marcelo in Atlanta as well.***************I would like to thank my friends Joan and Diane for the nice house warming visit on March 23rd. I hope that we can do that again. To all my friends to whom I have not had the chance to invite to my new place, I have not forgotten you and I will soon extend my invitation.***************I am still plugging away at my Microsoft Certification which basically takes 80% most of my time. I am really looking forward to complete this mayor project that I have been working on and I can not wait to see all the possibilities that this will bring. It will be very interesting to see where this will take me, specially now that we are going through tough economic times.*********** Finally, I would like to let everyone know that I have changed my address to www.miguelmartinez.net and therefore my new e-mail address is manny or [email protected]. Some people have found it hard to remember my address because of the dash, so as soon as the name became available to me, I made the change. I would've liked to have miguelmartinez.com but someone in France is using that name until the July of 2003. I will be changing my home page as soon as I find time to create a new logo.... Any ideas?????

I am back!!! December and January passed before my eyes as fast a bullet comes out of a gun.... I am finally settle in my new townhouse, and the whole process of packing and moving and unpacking and putting things away was painfully but the end result was worth it. It was so worth it that I am dreaming about my next home already!!! I feel very happy in my new place and I will like to invite you to visit me soon. I had a few little problems with the phone company, my car, etc., etc, but everything is under control now. ******I don't know about you all but I am all ready looking forward to spring. I am going to be contacting a few of my friends who play baseball with me and try to see if we can get together and start working out .********* The months of February and March are going to be very hectic for me. Two big tests are coming up and I am working very hard to get good grades on them...... so wish me luck.********** Oh, and by the way, Chuck........I still would like to go snowmobiling *********I have posted new pictures on the photographs section. Happy Holidays!!!! And Welcome to my website. For the first time my website is bilingual!!!!!!! I will be updating it regularly so that all of you can come in and see what I'm up to. I hope you enjoy it. ************So far this year has been full of changes and adjustments. Some time in February was thinking about moving to California since DecesionOne has a building over there, but something better came up over here so I stayed in Minnesota. Right now I am committed to get some of the most important certifications in the computer field like The A Plus Certification, The Microsoft Certified System Engineer Certification, and The Cisco Certification. So far I have Obtained the A Plus Certification and currently I am half way into The MCSE Certification (hopefully I will have ti by May of 2001)************** I am still playing baseball in the summer with the Giants and this year I played for the first time on the Fall League. I also had the opportunity to travel to Phoenix, AZ and represent the Giants in the MABL world series tournament which is held once a year. I had a really good time there, and I hope to I can make it in the future.************* And finally, the biggest news of them all is that I just purchase a Townhouse in Brooklyn Park. I am moving there on Dic 17. I will be posting pictures of it in the photo section of this website and I would love for you visit me anytime (mi casa es tu casa). ************** This site will be growing as time goes by so feel free to drop by once in a while. I will try to notify you via e-mail when I add more news, sections or make entries on this page.
